Peer Outreach Program

Our Aurora Outreach Program began in March of this year. Currently we have Peer Outreach workers establishing themselves within the African-American community. These workers are committed to minimizing the impact HIV/AIDS has within their community.

Goal of the Peer Outreach program is to: contact and provide information to Intravenous Drug Users (IDUs) and men who have sex with men on injection and sexual risk reduction at drop off sites, Bars, Parks, and on street corners.

Since early March, this program has already impacted hundreds of African-Americans in the Aurora area.
