The HIV RN will make an appointment for a nursing assessment within days.  At this time, our physicians are only available one day a week, alternating between Elgin and Aurora.

This nursing assessment provides an opportunity for face-to-face contact between the RN and the client prior to the physician appointment.

This appointment also provides an additional opportunity for HIV education and counseling at a critical time.
